[PVRCNC] Ice damage

It's a week that went from bad to worse at my house. I just went home to
check out the situation after being out of town all week. My younger (and
only) brother passed away Monday, and I was with my folks and doing funeral
stuff (not adviseable if you have a choice!).

We have no power/phone/water as of 6PM Friday evening. We rescued the cats
and headed back down south to Sampson County where it's warmer...

Actually damage was pretty minor overall. Actually, with what I've been
through the last few weeks, losing it all would be pretty minor. The boom
failed on my lower 40m beam (Crunchcraft 402CD) and all of the wire antennas
are down. The boom didn't have a truss support because it is on a ring
rotator, so that probably would have saved it. One side of it is bent down
almost 90 degrees. The top 40m beam (which is an XM240) sailed through with
absolutely no damage/bending or anything. I'm grateful for that since it is a
bear to repair. As someone else (think it was Pete or Willie) said - "Could
have been a lot worse". I'm hoping the power will be back on when we go back
on Sunday.

I will probably be searching around for a piece of 2" or 2-1/8" boom material
to sleeve/replace the broken part on the 402CD if I don't have one on my junk
pile.

Good luck to everybody getting through this mess...

73,

Will
