Hi fellows - almost made last Thursday's PVRC-NC meeting as I had to be in Raleigh for business, but couldn't quite get a flight which made sense and provided the proper arrival time in RDU. Perhaps next time as work will be bringing me in and out of RTP fairly regularly over the next few months.
To elaborate on Guy's observation in the M/M wars - there was no high band EU propagation from the west coast for WPX. That really hurt the N6RO team's point and QSO totals. I've been operating at Ken's and working on his towers a bit, but fortunately, I was somewhere else for WPX fone....heh heh heh
Here's our breakdown from P40V (AI6V + KI7WX, M/S):
160 0
80 20
40 275
20 2401
15 953
10 2961
6610 x 1251 = 25,617,978
Looks like D44TD and HC8N are ahead of us in M/S, but operating with Carl from Aruba was a blast.
Cheers,
Mark
