[Pro2006] 2006 audio

Good evening all.
I have a question on the 2006, I have two of them and a 2035 that I use for 
milair monitoring (am mode). the am audio on the 2035 is great, no trouble etc.
but both 2006's have very weak audio in am mode, fm is fine. Has anybody 
else found this to be a problem, I know that the amount of 2006 users is
dropping, I used mine for the standard use, police  etc but now would like 
to use them more for milair use (ie vhf/uhf).
