[Pro2006] 2006 Internal Battery?

Hello Pro-2006 enthusiasts.   While clearing some old email, I found this post from June 20, and I may have your answer.   I had a similar experience.  The problem was a break in the wire that runs from the snap-on battery connector to the circuit board of the scanner.   I replaced the battery connector and the wires to the circuit board, and my beloved Pro-2006 worked properly after this repair.
 I hope your repair is as quick, cheap, and easy as mine was.
