It was/is a wire wrap variant of the two level slicer
floating arround the net. But rather than using the
+/-12V op amp described there I just went with with a
746 (I think I recall) Put it on a 2x3 bread board and
a cheap RS plastic case.
Worked great for the EDACS system in my town here @
96Kbaud.. Now I am toying sith a simple single level
to snug inside my BC142XL to do the local Mot VHF
trunk system to one PC with trunker and a second
running treport.
