Hello gentlemen,
    I am checking all my back issues of  "WORLD SCANNER  REPORT" which was a
news letter Authored by Bill Cheek. In one of the issues was first add for
the light version of the CE-232 at a cheaper price than the full version.
The light version had limits in the some of the functions and programming
capabilities. I do not remember the exact details, hence my search of my
archives. As soon as I locate the issue I will post the differences per the
add. Sorry I can not provide any more info on it at this time.
    If any one need info on using surface mount memory chip and a Hex switch
for the memory mod for the 2006, I can provide it. I also have info on the
way to add a second 200 bank memory mod for the Pro-43. Bill I and one other
person worked to perfect it.
    I also have the info for adding an S-meter and other mods the CE-232
interface board as well.
    The news letter had a lot of mods that never made it into the Scanner
Mod books from Bill due to his illness.
