Should be able to just copy everything and it will work.

Probe will detect if a "DATA????" ("?" = numbers ranging from 0001 and
up to I believe 4000) directory is missing from the CONFIG file and
reconfigure itself accordingly in the event you don't want to carry over
all of the "DATA????" directories and files - you just have to be
careful about keeping index files (.CDX) in synch with their related
data files (.DBF) and keep them in their proper "DATA????" directories
if you want the CONFIG descriptions to match the data.

You don't have to copy the index files from one machine to another since
Probe will automatically create them for you when it sees they're
missing. Probe automatically creates files it finds are missing. The
primary data files are the BANKS.DBF and FREQ.DBF files. There's a
complete list and description of the files Probe uses in the docs.

Probe will also pick up a new "DATA????" directory / directories
(folders) if one is created manually outside of the program when the
program isn't running. The description for the new directory will show
up as "untitled". You can then edit the description to match the data.
