Hello,
I have done all of those mod's (I would guess most of us have?),
however I have been "out of the loop" for a while now, and am not sure how
much help I can be... what you are trying seems pretty straightforward, you
may want to try it yourself. Sounds like it will be a simple "brain
transplant" of the boards into the new box, with the addition of the
connector and any cutouts needed for the LED's. Plus, you have all of us on
the pro2006 board to answer any questions if you get stuck...

Subject: [Pro2006] Incorporate Cheek Mods to New Box (HELP)
Hi fellow 2006'ers,I am looking for the Bill Cheek Mod expert out there that
can do the following:
I have a 2006 which has the 6400 channel mod,LED s-meter,center tuning
carrier on,ATR,and also an analog s-meter.All these are in a project box
which connects via a computer cable to the scanner. What I am trying to find
is the "expert" that can incorporate all these into a Workman S-meter which
has plenty of room to do so.If there is ANYONE that is familiar and can do
this I would certainly like to talk to you.I did open up the project box and
look and all the boards that are described in the Cheek books are here like
they are supposed to be.I can if anybody replies take pictures of what I
have to show them or the group for that matter. Thanks,Tom
