[Pro2006] Keep the 2006 or upgrade

Dart,
       DO NOT get rid of your 2006. By a 2nd scanner like the BC780 or 785 
(when it comes out in 3 months). The 2006 has one of the best front ends ever 
made. Find an Optoscan 456 board and get Probe software and run the computer 
controlled 2006 as your dedicated conventional scanner and leave the trunking 
to the 780/785. While the 780/785 will trunktrack and scan conventional freqs 
simultaneously, it performs much better if only trunking 1 or 2 medium to 
large systems at a time. With Probe software you have up to 4000 groups (like 
having 4000 scanners) and each group has 99 banks. Each bank holds up to 1000 
frequencies. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

If you still decide to sell the 2006 let me know. I'd like a 4th ;-)
