[Pro2006] Someone update me about the last 10 years?

I was into scanning ten years ago, but divorce and other matters distracted
me. The Pro-2006 has been in storage for the last ten years. Back then,
trunking was making scanning difficult. I see there has been a lot of
advances! My Pro 2006 works perfectly and even still has old frequencies
from 1990 programmed into memory,  as I left it plugged in all these years!
As I return to scanning, what do I need to do to upgrade my Pro 2006? What
is the best method for trunking, and computer assisted controls, etc? Can
someone be kind enough to update me?
