I think my 895 hears things that my 06 misses out on but suspect that 15 cent 
slide switch that is still on the back may have something to do with it. My 
06 is still all original, even has it's diodes intact. It's tough though, 
it's been run almost daily since I bought it new and it hasn't missed a beat. 
Purchased a new backlight a few years ago but the old one hasn't quite given 
up yet.
