I think if you get it mounted on something that is good and ridged or well 
guyed it should hold up petty well. I'm planning to mount mine on a 21 ft 
joint of fence top rail next to the house and bracket it at the roof line, 
aprox 11 ft. I'm also going to attach a Barker & Williamson inverted Vee to 
the top of this pole for my TenTec RX320 shortwave. I've used fence top rail 
before for small antennas and have had good luck with it, it's stout and 
cheap compared to a telescoping pole of the same height.
