[Pro2006] 2006 and interface...what's the best software?

I have tried a number of them and really like Probe for the speed and
the ability to customise the way you scan. It requires the
Optoelectronics interface (full or lite) and is easy to set up and get
running.

I ran it under Windows 98 for a long time and it worked great, I have
recently upgraded my computers to Windows 2000 and I added Direct I/O to them and Probe seems to be running fine now under Windows 2000 but I
have not tested it fully.

I've got a nice 2006 and the computer interface, and wonder what the best
control and decode software packages are these days? I'd like to move
the 2006 to the newer computer and will likely want to get newer software
as well. OS would be Win98.
