Hey Len
> Just remember that your computer is now your scanner, if no computer then you
> can't scan what you have programmed into it.
You can't scan the Frequencies you have programmed into the computer software
that runs the scanner, but you can still input the very same frequencies up to
400 of course, and scan them. Don't confuse people.
> It also will not program the
> channels in your scanner.
Nobody said it would. When it is not connected to the computer it stills
operates like any other scanner and programing is done the same way as any other
scanner.
> Lots of people do not realize this, great idea as
> long as you can have a computer with the scanner all the time.
Len you do not need a computer to use the Pro-2006. You do not need a computer
with the radio all the time. Why are you saying this.
> Then the problem
> is find decent software for it.
The Probe software for the 2006 is excellent, check the reviews, ask the
hundreds that use it. ScanStar Deluxe is another excellent software program to
use. These aren't decent software programs your right there Len there excellent
programs.
Now the other route to go is to use the CE232 Board and Pro-Turbo software
nothing wrong with that either.
