[Premium-Rx] TCI/BR 8174 receiver question

Hi:

Does anyone have any experience with this model? I have two and both now show fault indications. They were great units but sadly both have failed over the years.

 I noticed that R149 on the one receiver board has failed. My manual does not show the actual schematics so I cannot understand what failed to cause the resistor to act as a fuse.
