Any 455 kHz panadapter should work. I have a WJ-9188A SDU as part of my shack. Here you can see one here being used with a harris RF-590

I also have a WJ-9040 with a SDU-101 that handles 455 kHz (HF options) as well as 21.4 MHz.

I am a big proponent of Panadapters/SDUs/SMs.

Hello All



I have a WJ 8711A and have a couple questions on the rear panel there is bnc
connector SMO  signal monitor output  455Khz

Are there any user that have utilized this output ? What did you connect to
it.





I have enquired on various forums, and no one can tell what the size of the
internal speaker. I been given the part number of

The original option, given it is no longer available and no longer
recognized no datasheet. Am I correct in guessing it is a 4 inch speaker.



I hope someone can help me with one or both of these of my questions.
