Google "R-1449/WLR-6(V)" and look for a post by Terry O. about this 1960s receiver. His post includes several images of the box and you may be able to see what you need to know.

R-1449/WLR-6(V) does anybody know how to open up this cabinet I removed one
screw from the front panel and the nut fell back inside... So I stopped
unscrewing things. .So I'm looking for a diagram what's okay to remove and
what's not so I can clean the contacts on these controls... There's three
screws on the back that looks like that would help The thing looks like
it's welded in one piece but I know it's not... The back where the two
spikes are.. diagram or pictorial information would be helpful I know it's
a submarine radio but I want to clean it before a giant squid comes out
