[Premium-Rx] Trouble remote controlling a Rohde & Schwarz EK-070

Good Day

I have a Rohde & Schwarz EK-070 in perfect condition.  I want to remote control it using the serial interface, and, get frequency updates when I turn the dial.

However, I get no data out of the receiver, even when I press the „send data“ button [DAT] on the front panel.

I wanted to check the jumpers on the CPU board, but I don’t know how to extract the CPU board from the receiver (the technical manual has no instructions on this).

My current hardware setup is a DB-25 to DB-9 converter connected to a USB serial adapter connected to a Linux board.  Whatever I try to do, I just don’t get any data…

If you have any idea or tip, that would be much appreciated.
