Well, Joe… here’s the latest skinny on the Dialight 586-1A02-101F LED…

I contacted Dialight several weeks ago looking for a source that would sell small quantities of that LED.  They looked it up and said they had only lmade one production run of that LED for a single client long ago and never have received a reorder or another order from a client.  That’s why no one has them in stock… but lists a huge quantity that would essentially be their minimum production run. I’m awaiting a call back from their engineering dept that said they would try to locate one or a suitable replacement that might be in production.
