The Karski family with have spaces 8125 to 8127 at the Dayton
Hamvention. After two years of work dispersing the estate, it is hoped
most of this equipment will not need a return ticket to their home.
Based on what I helped load yesterday, here is a partial list of the
equipment they will be bringing:
WJ-8999 DC to 12.4 GHz receiver that can display up to 200MHz of the
spectrum. Partially functional. Need some work on display raster issue
WJ-8969B & TU0145 1-4.5 GHz tuner, appears to work
WJ-8969/IFC controller, appears to work
WJ TU0412 tuner covering 4 to 12.4 GHz, 2 available, both appear to work
WJ TU0145 tuner covering 1 to 4.5 GHz, marked as having LO problems
WJ-8969C rare military/Tempest rated version with integral 0.5 to 18 GHz
GHz tuner, needs work
WJ-1250 sig gen with 12.4 to 18 GHz output module, appears to work
WJ-1204-1 sig gen, I believe it is stock with .01 to 18 GHz coverage,
though extender option were available.
WJ MP-101 meter panel, measures signal strength at 21.4 MHz IF input, I
believe these were used for measuring the strength of short pulsed
signals like radar
WJ AM-105 audio switch panel for routing audio from up to 12 receivers
to amplifiers or recorders.
WJ-9080B tuner covering 20-1020 MHz in one band with 21.4 & 160 MHz IF
outputs, flexible, interesting unit with microwave first IF (manual is
on my website)
TF-103 tape to IF tuners, tunes 40 KHz to 4 MHz
A significantly stripped WJ-9040 parts unit
Rohde & Schwarz ESVD 20-2050 MHz test receiver, appears to work fine.
Agilent E4438C ESG Vector Signal Generator, 250khz to 6 GHz, works and
looks as new, many options
Agilent N9020A MXA Signal Analyzer 20 Hz to 8.4 GHz, works and looks
new, many options
This is just what I helped to load up yesterday. There are other people
involved and I don't know what they are helping to bring from this estate.
There is also three stacks of odd WJ gear that are unlikely to be loaded
for Dayton. One pile of ten assorted WJ IF/tape converters. One pile of
eight assorted WJ Telco FDM supergroup and group demods. One large pile
of WJ 1/6 rack crystal controlled VHF and UHF receivers, maybe 30-35
units, racks, test panels... (these were widely used by CIA FBIS in
embassies around the world. These will appear at the South Milwuakee
hamfest in July, if they are still available then.
Best,
