[Premium-Rx] FS: WJ 8716 With Mods

RESENDING THIS

I have a WJ 8716 for sale.  This receiver is in good working condition, 
beautifully quiet as is characteristic of
these receivers.  Occasionally it exhibits synthesizer lock up which 
disappears all but the 0 digit on the display
requiring a restart.  The receiver has two modifications:

(1)  A cooling fan has been installed on the left side top
(2)  The battery has been modified for 2032 button cell

One HM6116P-4 - High-Speed CMOS Static RAM HITACHI IC DIP-24 was 
recently replaced with a new one.  OPTIONS:
ISB, 488, MCM 2

Note that on this particular 8716, some cards may actually be from the 
8718 series.  This may be a "Tempest"
version of the 8716 as the S-Meter has the metal cage on the display.  
Cosmetics of the receiver are good, and it
has top and bottom covers.

This is a beautiful receiver, but I just have too many radios at this 
point and must move this on to someone
else who appreciates and can work on WJ equipment.  I am located in the 
DC/MD/VA area.  Pickup is possible
from my home as long as payment is made in advance and clears.
