The EB150 is an earlier version of the EB200 without the optional remote control facilities. The EB200 can be expanded with a serial RS232 interface or an Ethernet LAN-interface.

If you do not need the remote control option it is probably not worth to upgrade, although the EB200 probably uses a newer software version which might have other benefits.

The EB150 and EB200 are still serviced by R&S and there are no service manuals or schematics available in contrary to my older EB100.

I prefer to have a service manual or schematics for all my gear, just in case. When I contacted R&S and asked for a service manual or even schematics for my EK 896 they declined because they still offer service and repair.

OTOH R&S is not alone within the last 25 years many other companies such as Hewlett-Packard/Agilent have not issued detailed service manuals including schematics.
