 Yes, I would go to the EB150 too, I think that is a step further than the EK895. Although I am only interested in the VLF-HF segment.
There is valuable information on the web, a owner says that there is no crackles and noises and the AGC is superb.

I would consider a Rohde EB200 or EB150, instead a EK895.There are more info and software available and it's still a R&S.Besides that, the EB200 is portable, and goes up to 3 GHz, and has all the features found at EK895.
