[Premium-Rx] WJ-8711 BITE TEST QUESTION

Greetings List Members,
I have been meaning to ask this question for years.
When the BITE Test is performed the meter pointer displays somewhere in the middle of the black scale.But what exactly is being measured at this time ? There is absolutely no information that I can discover concerning this in the User Manual.
