HI Greg,
I tried to email your direct and it bounces.
Running into an SDR is probably your best way of getting something out of it. Does yours have the IF filter? You can run without it if you jumper the filter connections. Putting in a demodulator and then getting the correct eprom data would be a bit of work.
Does it do anything now? When the battery goes dead, it reverts to external reference so it won't receive anything until you manually switch to internal.
