I drilled a hole and added an RCA phono jack. Run a short jumper to the jack's center pin from pin 18. 
4 ohms is no problem, it will drive 3.2 and up. If you are a purist, substitute the jumper wire with a 5 watt, 4 ohm resistor.I've done that to a few receivers and it's much more convenient than making an adaptor for the existing connector.HINT: Instead of the loudspeaker, feed the audio to a decent audio system's line input. You may be amazed at the recovered audio quality.
