Researching the value of my receiver, Rohde & Schwarz EK896, I obtained the
following information:

a) In Fred Osterman's "Short Wave Past and Present Receivers". The EK 896
is listed as "normally unavailable" and the "used" price as "unknown".

b) The price of the "new" was US $ 12500.

c) Given the condition of its unit and its rarity, the Rx is a collector's
item, and an asking price of $ 5,000 seems like a good start.

I will wait a few more days for the manifestation of the members of this
group and then I will put the sale on Ebay
