That’s a BEAUTIFUL receiver if ever there was one, Joseph. 
Yesterday I happened to watch a great documentary on its designer, Dieter Rams. The documentary is called “Rams” and it was directed by Gary Hustwit in 2018. Very recommendable.
Also there are a couple of videos on youtube in which Rams comments at length on his T1000. 
I do hope your T1000 will find a good new home. Weniger, Aber Besser!  :-)
