Thinning out my collection and have a very nice Collins 51J4 receiver with the rare grey front panel.
When I acquired the receiver, it came without any mechanical filters as it had a network installed in one of the mechanical slots as it was apparently a “lab receiver” at collins. I got it from the estate a gentleman who used to work at the Collins factory.  Fortunately, I had all three  of the necessary mechanical filters to populate it.
It is loaded with all three filters which includes 1.4 khz, 3.1 khz and 6 khz bandwidths.
I also have available as an option a 9.1 khz wide am filter as well as a rare 800 hz cw filter.
It comes installed in a matching grey Hammond cabinet.
It has installed a product detector module by Tree Tops Circuits .
Also has a soft start high voltage rectifier module by Kits Parts (K3ICH) installed to protect the power transformer.
Also comes with original Collins manual.
Asking $1200 for the receiver c/w all three normal mechanical filters, the Hammond cabinet, the product detector and soft start. For US interest parties, I would take it to Action Shipping in Spokane Washington so that it is professionally packed with custom double boxes where they use two part spray foam inserts from top and bottom of the unit.
I can provide many photos of the unit for any interested parties.
Optionally filters are available at extra cost.
