Yep, I have both, and the R-1451 is  a nice receiver when working and 
somewhat of a challenge to repair when it's not.   The geared tuning 
dial is probably the most fun you can have with a receiver other than an 
Eddystone ;-)

The reason I piped up about this receiver is - I'd love to find a photo 
or drawing that shows the entire WLR-6 "Water Boy" installation.   Or 
any other documentation, of course.
