[Premium-Rx] WTB: Watkins Johnson 8940 Tempest Rx System

Hi,
I have a complete system, minus the desk (I couldn't fit it in the car
so had to leave it behind), with all cables, and a pretty much complete
set of manuals, some paper, others PDF's.
It needs a load of work to restore it, I've never seen it running, and
lots of magic blue smoke escaped from the controllers mains EMI filter
when I tried to tentatively power it up a few years back.
I can supply PDF's and scan anything else as required, I don't think
it's practical to ship it back across the pond though..... :-)
It's a big job and waiting for me to either retire, or have enough time
on my hands to start the restoration job.
Cheers,
Dave.S.

Shipping would be by freight or you could pick it up. These were functional units when I bought them, and have been in storage (in my lab) ever since. Never got around to using them, so they have sat in the corner. Not many were made, and at one point WJ had a sale for one of mine to Denmark, as WJ did not want to build a one-off. It was from this that I learned they were $300K. Did not come through. This was back just at the time the Clinton Admin killed the Tempest requirement.
