Hello,
a couple weeks ago I was looking for any info on the shortwave receiver
R-1910(V)2/GRR made by:
General Instrument Corp.
Electronic Systems Division
Hicksville, New York

Contract no. DAA803-76-C-0171
part no. 857-2500-2
FSCM: 05828

I visited the estate again and also found the remote control. Enclosed
are a couple more pictures of this strange (to me) receiver.

There seems to be a home made control cable attached to the remote
control. So far I have not powered it up.  I will do it as soon as I
find two old style HP power cables. I should have them somewhere.
