[Premium-Rx] Help With Harris RF-550

Hello All,
A very nice RF-550 came into my possession this week. Works great except
one of the tuning digits is flaky (the radio tunes with up/down switches)
If someone on the list who is familiar with this circuitry and/or radio
could verify my prognosis before I tear into it, I would be appreciative.
All tuning works as it should, except the 1 MHZ switch segment which will
only tune 0, 1, 8, 9. It will not tune to 2,3,4,5,6,7. The receiver
functions on any frequency it can be  tuned to.  The possibilities as I see
it is either the mechanical switch, which converts 0-9 to four line bcd. or
a short/open in the wiring going to it.  Can any one confirm or suggest
somethng else.
