Hi Terry,

>They found many purchasers simply couldn't understand how to
>operate the radio properly and/or damaged them through misuse

Sorry, but this assertion rises a couple of questions for me:

- Have the purchasers of a HF-1000 been people with subpar knowledge how to operate a simple radio with DSP filters
  properly and without misusing it?
- Has this radio been so complicated to operate that it was prone to be not properly operated
or prone to be even misused by the user with average capabilities?
- Hasn't the owner of the radio and not the company to pay for support when the radio is outside warranty
or after misuse which is not covered by the warranty?
- Why have other companies which have always been producing radios for the commercial market
survived including their products despite providing support.
- Could it be that WJ was just not able to produce as cost effective as it is mandatory for the open market
because they never had to learn it due to lacking competion of the commercial market?
