Hi All,
Bit of a long shot this one but does anyone out there in prem Rx land have any info on the Farnell 352C analyzer?
It's a reasonably basic affair from the late 80's covering 300Khz to 1Ghz.I'm guessing it was made by someone else and badged by Farnell, but I have no idea who.
I just acquired one which has cleaned up rather nicely and seems to be working OK. At least it seems to have passed it's internal calibration routine and is showing peaks in the right place and at least approximately the right amplitude....
By far it's worst feature is that it only has a 1Mhz tuning resolution making accurate tuning all but impossible...It does however have a 15 way D-type on the rear marked as serial frequency data to to printer. I am hoping this may have a better resolution, but a 15 pin D is not "standard" for 232, so before I go probing about in the dark was wondering if anyone has any info. The other option may be to tap the LO and feed it into an external counter, but again a manual would make this a lot easier.
Thanks in advance,Dave. S.
