Hi All,

I've currently got quite  few duplicate receivers knocking about in the 
shack, and am looking to either sell them off or swap them for other 
interesting RF bits and peices.

I've currently got a couple of "spare" RA-1778's, a couple of Eddystone 
1650/6'es which have been converted to "normal" SSB operation, I.E. The 
front panel has been enabled, a manual tuning knob has been added, and 
the fixed reference oscillator crystal has been replaced by a DDS module 
to provide the correct frequency offset / display.
So far I haven't added AM or an internal speaker, so you will need to 
use headphones.
One of the 1650's has had the front panel overlay and rear plate cut 
away to allow use of the channel funtion, this hasn't been done all that 
well, it was done before I acquired the unit, but I've sorted it out as 
well as I can without a new overlay.
I've fitted the channel displays to the second unit, and tested them, 
but have not attempted to cut out the rear plate, so they are currently 
not visible.

I've also got a couple of WJ-8712's and an RA-17 (curently not working) 
to dispose of as well, plus possibly an RA-1792, and a collins HF-8054 
(with a faulty 1Khz synth module, but otherwise OK last time I tried it).

If anyone in the UK, or possibly Europe is interested feel free to get 
in touch and I'll send some pictures / discuss prices or swaps. I've had 
issues with shipping gear to the far East and USA in the past, with 
courier damage Etc, so appologies in advance to far flung list members.
Idealy I'm looking for UK members who can collect in person, or arange 
to meet up a hamfest Etc and swap gear.
European shipping will be considered, and I will pack the units as well 
as I can, but shipping will be at the buyers own risk.
As we all know this gear does not travel well, so local pickup is much 
prefered.

I'm more interested in obtaining gear for my collection, and reducing 
the amount of duplicate gear than making a great deal of money for the 
equipment, so swaps for other premium gear of similar value would be 
prefered.

I may have some other gear as well, so if anyone is looking for anything 
specific then also feel free to drop me a mail and I'll see what I have 
in the "stores" (garage).....
