Hello RX fans,

I’m working on an M3142 Brigantina receiver made by ONIIP, located in Siberia and manufactured during the 1990s. It’s a fascinating piece of equipment. Superb construction with an innovative design. There’s a short review in Shortwave Receivers, Past and Present, page 519. I have found a manual for it, in Russian, which I have translated into English.

It has some problems and I’m looking for parts. It can be repaired easily by replacing plug in modules. There are some for sale on a Russian web site, but I have not been able to communicate with them. They may not be able to understand English, and I don’t write Russian, except with Google translator, so what I write may not make much sense after translation. I remember there was someone in this group who was Russian and knew about Russian receivers, and I was hoping he might be able to help me with this.
