First I congratulate for your purchase, Scott of American MilSpec is a friend of mine and I can confirm his prices are cheap enough and his customer service is very accurate.
As far as I know, breaking the plastic extensions of the main power push-button switch in the WJ-8718 receivers (including "A" and "/MFP" versions) is a frequent issue, in most of the receivers I had at hand the above mentioned extensions have been repaired (by applying some glue on them).
As it is almost impossible to find suitable spares, for sure I suggest you to apply some glue on the broken extensions, it is an easy task.
About the cabinet for the WJ-8718 receivers that a Chinese seller is currently offering on ebay, I am almost sure it was not manufactured by Watkins-Johnson (such a cabinet never appeared on WJ catalogs).
Most probably it is an OEM product (that fits perfectly the WJ-8718 receivers however).
About the seller, I can assure you he is serious and honest, I purchased many items from him and I always appreciated his precision (items always 100% OK and very fast shipping). So I can recommend him.
