[Premium-Rx] WJ-8718/MFP Questions

Have been offered a very nice looking WJ-8718/MFP that is supposed to have been equipped with the Pre-Selector option, however it has been removed. Receiver is reportedly working very well. How much of a factor in value is the missing pre-selector?

Also, are there any significant differences between the A version and non-A version?
