Hi,

Does anyone out there have any current contact details for Geoff Steadman M0BGS in Leeds?
I've just acquired a couple of Eddystone 1650/6'es which need converting to operate under manual control.
I spoke to him about 4 years ago at a local rally.
I know he used to sell kits for this, so would like to contact him.

I do already have a converted unit, so could possibly reverse engineer this one, but any documentation as to what is involved would be much appreciated.

Apparently the conversion process was written up in an old Eddystone user group mag some years back, but I can't find a copy of the article on the net so far. I know it involves EPROM relacements, which I can copy from my existing Rx, plus a tuning encoder fitging and some LED drivers, but am not sure what else.

These came in at a pretty reasonable price, so if nothing else they will do as spares for my existing unit.
