Sorry, I am in New York, but I have this receiver. It is an incredible
performer. Granted, I haven?t tested it for its specs, but it is the best
sounding SSB receiver I can think of. A really great radio. I hope you can
find one near you.

Greg,  I downloaded the file several times but when I tried to open it,
Acrobat said, "There was an error opening this document.  Acrobat cannot
decrypt this document."  Apparently it was saved with password encryption,
so those of us who don't have the password are out of luck??  (Also, the
8.8MB file size seems far too small to be a scan of the complete manual.)

Hi Charles,
The manual requires adobe reader X or later. You don't need the password to
read or print it, but it will not open in earlier releases of acrobat
reader.

Should have reposted that bit of info.

It is the complete service manual, with schematics etc a total of 383 pages.

If you still have issues after installing reader X or later (even though the
gui looks awful) let me know.

Hello Elan,
I don't know where you can find one in the UK but I am in Germany and over
here they show up once in a while. The E311 b1 is most common. There are
other versions and they differ somewhat.  I have at least three E311. 
I might have two E311 b1 let me check. 
Shipping to the UK would not be a problem. GLS parcel service is very quick
and maximum weight is 40kg. Shipping is about EUR 30.

The E311 uses eight E88CC tubes which are highly sought after by the audio
fools. My first E311 was missing all E88CC.
