[Premium-Rx] Marconi Oceanic Rx

Hi All,
I have an Elektromekano (Dansk Radio M-3000)
It works, but the AGC is processed via the CPU, and this action leaves somewhat to be desired.. sometimes I have to resort to using manual RF gain.
One other thing is that the manual says it will receive LSB on two pushes on the "SSB" button, mine receives only USB.
I believe mine has three EPROMS (U23, 24 and 25) I have the manual, but it does not say PROM types.
I have to look at the CPU board. I am also looking for a better SW version, but haven't succeeded yet.
I have an EPROM burner/reader and could make a file for you if you want (if my old programmer still works ;)  )
One German has the same RX, and he can resolve both USB and LSB. I asked him for his PROM files, but got no answer..
I have found a way around this; set the BFO 3 kHz down solves the problem (display shows incorrect freq, naturally)
All in all, a great receiver, when I got the 73.6MHz xtal oscillator working after some struggle. Also receives "SAQ" on 17.2 kHz..

Hi All,
The museum has just joined the list, an existing member mentioned it, we were unaware .

We have a Marconi Oceanic (Dansk 3000) and need a copy of the system EPROMS (2).

Does anybody have either a set of proms or would be prepared to remove a set for copying? Happy to cover all costs and provide a second set for the lender.

The receiver is part of a complete Marconi Marine console from the ferry Pride of Calais on display at the museum as part of a permanent Marine Radio display.
