When I first listed this receiver (that I must sell) I was not sure of
what it's value was and thus I started out on the high side.

It has come time to where I must part with this gem as lay-offs this
continue in our defense industry here in the Midwest where I worked for
over 30 years.

I have lowered the price to $900 plus S/I and is being sold as-is but I
can promise you as of this minute every function on the receiver works
perfectly well.

As Terry "O" has noted earlier, not many of this model were ever made,
maybe only 4, and this may be the only one left in existence. TU to a
very kind member of this group I have the Triax antenna adapter to allow
a proper connection to the antenna port and was able to evaluate it's
performance. I used my HP-3325 signal generator and step attenuator
into the receiver to ensure it still works and to run some basic audible
MDS tests.

The receiver is in very, clean condition with no dust or dirt on the
knobs or face, top, etc. The front face is near perfect with only a
couple hard to detect scuff marks or signs of lab use. The top had a
couple of light stains which I was able to remove with some Windex and
also it has a light scrape mark running left-to-right along the top.
Electrically every knob functioned fine and without noise. If I were to
hang onto it I would still hit every potentiometer & switch with some
Deoxit etc for good measure. I did note a 120 Hz PS hum when listening
through my headphones and the volume turned all the way down and yet I
was still able to perform several quick audible MDS tests at several
frequencies and all bandwidths.

My audible MDS tests were run at 100 kHz, 500 kHz, and 900 kHz, at all
four I.F. BW frequencies (1 kHz, 6 kHz, 20 kHz, 50 kHz). MDS Values
ranged from -123 dBm to -138 dBm. The main frequency dial was very
close to true. All tests were run in the USB mode so I could detect my
CW signal from the 3325 signal generator. I am sure once the main PS
filter caps are replaced the MDS numbers will be even better.

Below are some images of the receiver. If you are interested in this
receiver please contact me privately and include your phone number in
case my ISP will not let me reply to your e-mail. I have been having
issues with about 40% of my outgoing e-mails for the last 6-7 months. I
get all incoming mail 100% but only 1/2 of the people get my reply. So
if you do not hear from me it is not because I am being rude.

The receiver will be extremely well packed with lots of semi-rigid foam
and double-triple wrapped.

TU kindly for looking and if you have any questions at all please don't
hesitate to contact me. Please include your phone number when you
e-mail me.
