[Premium-Rx] A question about R&S EZM Spectrum Monitor

Serge,

I have one of these spectrum monitors that had a problem with the reference oscillator. After the analyzer warmed up, the reference frequency would go out of lock and an error message would appear and the control system would be disabled. I think in my case the frequency drift was at the threshold of error so it was more intermittent than a hard failure. So the answer to your question is yes, there is a reference oscillator. You will need a manual to determine the location of the oscillator.

I do have an op manual for the analyzer. It is written in German but I have found it to be very useful in understanding basic functions.

Best regards to all,

-Scott
