Sure: Harris did make and offer an 'exact' made cabinet, while
expensive $1,100.00 it was not particularity exotic or even special...
Functional yes..
I know this because ? I bought one and I know of one other list member
here who also bought one .. perhaps others also, but i only know of the
2 of us ...
The 2368 is a bit of an odd duck, several iterations were made, my big
disappointment in my second one was it had no internal speaker, it was
and is a genuine 2368 just a special build for the navy and within that
block order they wanted no speaker, I was told typically those were
dedicated to crypto use and with no speaker it made it obvious some
would not hear the received signal's content as a casual listener ...
I ended up with two of the cabinets and would sell or offer one, my
guess is on the order of $500.00 shipped ...It is is fair condition,
not exceptional
What is to be remembered is most of this era of receivers were that deep
body style from the front to the back panel, so unless your hung up on a
exact cabinet, several others will serve your same needs..
If you are determined, i can dig thru my storage area and find one and
take a few pictures, but i promise you it is very simple in design and
construction ...
That i rid myself of 1,100 for one is just a reflection of the times and
my lifestyle coupled with a desire to have one, sans my IQ ...
