I have an example of this excellent and interesting receiver, but it’s developed a problem that causes the fuse to blow as soon as it’s turned on. My diagnostician (Rick Mish, the Miltronix man, of R390 fame) looked into it and says the rectifier stack is blown, probably due to bad power-supply caps (it may have something to do with the shallow water that the receiver sat in, on its back panel I think, when our sump pump failed, though there’s no visible sign of immersion damage). He thinks repair will require replacement of the PS module, something that he doesn’t want to take on.

I’m moving imminently to the Raleigh, NC, area. Anyone know of a suitable expert in that area?
