I am very sad to say but I must part with this very rare gem. As Terry
"O" has noted, not many of this model were ever made, maybe only 4 and
this may be the only one left in existence. TU to a very kind member of
this group I will soon have a proper Triax adapter to firmly connect to
the antenna port and further evaluate it. The receiver is being sold as-is.

I found a temporary way to inject my HP-3325 signal generator/step
attenuator into the receiver to ensure it still works and to run some tests.

The receiver is in very, very clean condition with no dust or dirt on
the knobs or face, top, etc. The front face is near perfect with only a
couple hard to detect scuff marks or signs of lab use. The top has a
couple stains which I will remove with some Windex and also has a light
scrap mark running left-to-right along the top. Electrically every knob
functioned fine and without noise. If I were to hang onto it I would
still hit every potentiometer with some Deoxit etc for good measure. I
did note a 120 Hz PS hum when listening through my headphones and the
volume turned all the way down but I was still able to perform several
quick audible MDS tests at several frequencies and all bandwidths.

My audible MDS tests were run at 100 kHz, 500 kHz, and 900 kHz at all
four I.F. BW frequencies (1 kHz, 6 kHz, 20 kHz, 50 kHz). Values ranged
from -123 dBm to -138 dBm. The main frequency dial was very close to
true. All tests were run in the USB mode so I could detect my CW signal
from the signal generator. I am sure once the main PS filter caps are
replaced the MDS numbers will be better.

Below are some images of the receiver. If you are interested in this
receiver please contact me privately with your offer. I am looking for
offers over $1000. Buyer to pay for S/I. If none are received I will
then make a decision to list it on E-Bay or keep it. The receiver will
be extremely well packed using double boxing and lots of semi-rigid foam.

TU kindly for looking and if you have any questions at all please don't
hesitate to contact me. Please include your phone number when you
e-mail me as at times my e-mails do not make it when I try to reply to
others. I get incoming e-mails ok but some people do not get mine.
