The power supply module is quite simple and fully
field-repairable. Why not fix the one you have? It will be cheaper
and you should end up with a more reliable radio as well.

One very common failure is leaky transient suppressors, CR14 and CR12
(often the leaky CR12 has taken out the bridge rectifier,
CR13). There are some posts about this in the archive.

If the bridge is bad, it can be replaced with 4x 1N4007, which will
be more reliable than the original DIP bridge.

The location of CR12 in the circuit was bad design -- it should
either be removed (it is completely unnecessary because CR14 does
everything required), or relocated to the AC input side of the bridge
rectifier.

Best regards,

Charles
