It might behoove you to be a little more specific concerning the connector
on the 6790 remote board.

I am sure that some members could point you in the right direction if they
knew which connector style you were referring to. I have seen a number of
6790s with the round Amphenol 26P connectors, as well as, a number of units
with the more standard DB-25 style. I also had a 6790 at one time that had
the old style Amphenol Blue Ribbon connector. If it happens to be the more
common round connector, there is an outfit in Great Britain that sells the
complete serial cables for the 6790s with that round mating connector. The
name escapes me at the moment but they are very well known and deal in many
upgrades, mods, etc. for several of the more popular Racal receivers.  Hope
