Thanks for the bad (and seemingly inevitable) news.  It's good to know from a planning perspective but it hurts inside.

Kind of reminds me of when Fujitsu decided to discontinue its line of Ultra-High-Speed ECL logic.  They kept no parts of any kind. All parts in all phases of manufacture will take behind the building and crushed.

Too bad there wasn't a "broker" who could have stepped in and obtained the spare parts like the guys who resell obsolete ICs.  If one of my receivers should need a new switch or other part I'd be happy to pay real money for it.
